Terms and conditions
Last updated 6 October 2026
Draft: this page still needs review by a lawyer and is not final legal advice. A clinic’s signed agreement takes precedence over it.
These terms explain the rules for using Wareed and what clinics and Wareed can expect from each other.
The short version
- Wareed is software for running a clinic. It does not give medical advice, diagnose, prescribe or triage.
- Your clinic owns its data and is responsible for using it lawfully and telling patients how it is used.
- AI features prepare drafts and replies. People review them, and doctors sign every visit note.
- A signed agreement or order form with your clinic takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
Accepting these terms
These terms apply to the Wareed website and service. By creating an account or using Wareed you agree to them on behalf of your clinic or organization, and you confirm that you are authorized to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts and access
- Clinic administrators invite staff, assign roles and remove access when people leave or change roles.
- Keep sign-in details confidential, use a unique password, and tell us promptly at security@wareed.io if you suspect unauthorized access.
- You are responsible for activity under your clinic’s accounts.
Your clinic’s data
Your clinic keeps all rights to the patient records, messages, files and other content it puts into Wareed. You give us permission to host, process and transmit that content only to provide, secure and support the service, as described in our privacy policy.
You are responsible for having a lawful basis for the patient information you collect, for obtaining any consent required (including consent before recording a visit), and for giving patients the notices the law requires. You can export your data while your subscription is active.
Clinical responsibility and AI
Wareed provides software tools. It does not practise medicine or replace professional judgement. Fatma’s replies, scribe drafts, summaries, suggestions and reports can be incomplete or wrong; your team must review them before relying on them. Visit notes become part of the record only after a clinician approves and signs them, and clinical decisions remain the responsibility of your clinicians.
WhatsApp and messaging
When you connect WhatsApp, you must also follow WhatsApp’s and Meta’s terms and policies, message only patients who have contacted you or agreed to hear from you, and honour requests to stop. Delivery of messages depends on WhatsApp and mobile networks, which we do not control.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- use Wareed unlawfully, to send spam, or to harass, mislead or harm anyone;
- upload malware, or try to break, probe or overload the service, or reach data you are not authorized to see;
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the service, except where the law allows it; or
- use Wareed for emergency services or anything where a delay or error could directly cause death or serious harm.
Free trial, fees and payment
A free month, when offered, lets your clinic try Wareed without charge. After it, fees, billing periods and payment terms are those in your order form or the plan you choose. Unpaid fees may lead us to suspend the service after notice. Taxes are added where they apply.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Wareed available and to give notice of planned maintenance, but the service may sometimes be interrupted. We improve Wareed continually and may change or remove features; if a change materially reduces what you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
Suspension and ending
You can stop using Wareed at any time under the terms of your subscription. We may suspend or end access for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where the law requires it. When an account ends, you can export your data for a reasonable period, after which we delete it as described in our privacy policy.
Warranties and liability
Apart from what we promise in these terms or a signed agreement, Wareed is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees your clinic paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Intellectual property
Wareed, its software, design and brand belong to us. These terms give you the right to use the service while your account is active; they do not transfer ownership.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top. For material changes we will tell clinic administrators in advance. Continuing to use Wareed after a change takes effect means you accept it.
Governing law
Unless your clinic’s agreement says otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction.
