Setup wizard

Every step of setting up a new clinic or medical center, and which ones are required.

The setup wizard gets a new organization ready for real patients. It opens at /onboarding for administrators who can manage clinics, and you can return to it at any time.

How it works

  • Your progress is saved at every step. Use Save and exit and come back later.
  • Required steps cannot be skipped. A step that needs data, such as doctors or schedules, only counts as done once that data exists.
  • Optional steps can be skipped with Skip for now and finished later from Settings.

The steps

  1. What are you setting up? Choose Clinic (one practice, usually one location) or Medical center (several departments or specialties, often across branches). This decides which steps you see and how screens are labeled. You can change it later.
  2. Organization details. Name and contact details used on invoices, reminders, and your booking page.
  3. Locations. Your main location already exists. Add branches if patients visit more than one address.
  4. Departments. Medical centers only. Departments group doctors, rooms, and services so you can schedule and report by specialty.
  5. Doctors and staff. Add the people who will use Wareed. Doctors appear on the calendar and the booking page.
  6. Doctor schedules. Weekly working hours. Wareed only offers booking times inside these hours.
  7. Services and appointment types. What patients book, with a duration.
  8. Prices. Shown on the booking page and filled into invoices. Leave a price at 0 to hide it.
  9. Connect WhatsApp. Confirmations, reminders, and Fatma's replies use your clinic's number.
  10. Configure Fatma. How she introduces herself and which languages she speaks.
  11. Online booking. How far ahead patients can book and how much notice you need.
  12. Import patients. Bring your existing list from a spreadsheet, or add patients as they book.
  13. Try it before going live. Chat with your booking assistant as a patient would. Nothing is sent to real patients.

The last screen, Ready to go live, lists anything required that is still missing and links straight to it.

Showing your team around

Each person can replay the product tour from Settings, then Help, then Show me around.
