Organization and access
Branches, departments, who can work where, users, and roles.
The Organization page (/organization) is where administrators shape how the clinic is structured and who can see what.
Clinic or medical center
Wareed labels screens to match how you work. A clinic is usually one practice. A medical center has several departments, often across branches. Change the organization type at the top of the Organization page. Nothing is deleted when you switch.
Facilities and branches
Every organization has a main facility. Add a branch for each extra address patients visit. Each branch has its own rooms, staff, doctors, and services, and patient records are shared across branches so a patient has one file wherever they are seen.
When you work across branches, the facility switcher at the top of the workspace narrows calendars, queues, and reports to one branch, or shows all of them.
Departments
Departments group doctors, rooms, and services by specialty, such as Dermatology or Pediatrics. Use them to:
- filter the calendar and queue by department;
- send a department-specific pre-visit form;
- compare appointments, completion, and no-show rates by department on the Overview tab.
Access
The Access tab decides which facilities and departments each person can work in. Someone limited to one branch only sees that branch's appointments, patients' visits, and figures. Reports state when figures are limited to what you can access.
Roles decide what a person can do (for example book, bill, or sign notes). Access decides where they can do it. Both apply everywhere, including Search and Fatma.
Users and roles
Add people from Users and choose their role. Create custom roles from Roles when the built-in ones do not fit. Every change to a role or a person's access is recorded in the audit log.
